General motorcycle rental conditions
Driver’s age: Minimum age of 21 years.
Driver’s license: The driver must have a driver’s license or an international driver’s license for the respective category of motorcycle. The driver’s license must be valid and issued in the renter’s country of residence at least one year prior to the rental date.
Rental duration: Minimum rental duration is one day (24 hours). A delay of more than 2 hours is charged an additional rental day.
Insurance: All rental prices include basic liability insurance. The renter is liable for any damage or theft (partial or total) caused to the rented motorcycle up to the amount of its commercial value at the time of the accident/theft. The renter pays the amount corresponding to the damage to the bike of Bike the way – Gogos Konstantinos, regardless of fault and the amount paid is returned to him when and as long as Bike the way – Gogos Konstantinos is compensated.
Theft Security: Not Applicable. All motorcycles are equipped with a handlebar lock and alarm system or additional safety lock.
                               ATTENTION: No Higher Insurance Coverage Applies:
For anything that happens and it is found that the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
For damage caused by driving on unpaved roads.
For damage caused to the bottom of the motorcycle, tires and rims.
For accidents caused by a driver not stated in the rental contract.
For accidents for which the renter has not informed the Bike the way station and filed/submitted a relevant accident statement, as defined by Greek Legislation, regardless of his fault. The amounts related to the damage or loss of the motorcycle are paid directly by the renter even if he is covered by insurance and by his debit/credit card. In this case, the lessee is obliged to pay to Bike the way – Gogos Konstantinos the entire cost of repairing or replacing the motorcycle.
Roadside assistance: Free 24-hour roadside assistance.
Guarantee: For categories A, B, C, minimum guarantee limit of 300 euros or credit card.
Payment method: The motorcycle rental is paid in cash or by Visa, Mastercard credit card.
Deliveries – Collections: They are made only at our station and within its opening hours. Outside of opening hours and holidays, delivery and pick-up is only possible by appointment. Pickups outside our station are made upon agreement and with an additional fee borne by the lessee.
Reservations: To reserve a motorcycle, a deposit of 30% of the rental is required in cash, bank deposit or by credit card.
Cancellations: In case of cancellation of the reservation, the deposit is non-refundable.
Traffic Violations – Fines: All fines and administrative penalties are borne by the lessee.
Helmet: A helmet is offered to the renter free of charge.
Taxes: All prices are subject to VAT as determined by the state.
